With its lighthouse as tall as a tree, its elegant old anchor and plaques for our fishermen who have died trying to cross the fiery waves of the bar, the Tiphead is my top spot. So as the sun sets and shines on the rocky ledges that build the tip, a big starry blanket covers the sky introducing night fall. The faithful fishermen come into port directed by the shining lights of the lighthouse. The Tiphead helps out a lot around our little town and even on the darkest of days its fairness is beautiful.
