The Rainbow

Dipton

Southland/Fiordland

Anna, 12

This photograph was taken on our farm when Dad and I were making silage in his truck. Our farm is 200 acres, and we have a winter grazing block, in the Spring and Summer we have calves on our farm, and in the Autumn and Winter, the dairy cows come to winter here. In this photo the grass is short and stubby, as it has just been cut, and made into a silage stack, ready for the winter time. There had been a short rainfall earlier that morning and a brightly coloured rainbow had lit up the sky, just minutes after.
