As I climb over the railings my heart pounds in my chest. It was only three metres until waters surface but it felt like miles. My palms start to go clammy and sweaty as they grip to the rail. I was on the edge of it now and knew I had to let go but my nerves kept holding me back. I would be so gutted if i didn't jump, but it just didn't feel possible. It felt like there was a thick layer of glass holding me back. It was starting to get chilly and I saw my parents below me packing up. I knew it was either now or never, so without thinking I let go...
