My special place
Maia, 9I caught a glimpse of the blue lake as we got there. I was so eager to go for a swim because it was so stuffy in the car. We went down to the blue lake, the silver hot stones burned my feet as we dashed to get in the turquise coloured water as if the crystal clear water was blinding my eyes. After, we tramped up the hill and it smelt like pine trees that surrounded the lake, like sap coming out of the trees trunks. It feels like the pine needles in my face and the not so nice dirt in my eyes as I take the long trip back home. My special place, Lake Tekapo.
