My special place
Natalya, 12It's not my home, but it feels like I belong in a calm but hustling little town. My eyes guide me to the lake, and my feet take me to the rocks. The petite waves and loud murmuring fill my ears. Everything paints itself on to this canvas standing in front of me. My body leads me to the water. My feet touch this clear blanket I think to myself, I am here. The beautiful picturesque landscape circles around me, hugging me. I feel warm, happy. The water runs away as my leg floats down. I feel rocks crowd around my foot. Wanaka is my new home, this is my special place.
