My favourite place - Ohakune
Ruby, 10As we try to climb up the carrot the lack of grip pulls us tumbling back down.
The powerful wind tickles my face as I try to eat the carrot.
The snow patches cover the dead grass because there's no sun to melt it.
The white blanket of snow draped over the mountain in the distance.
The crisp wind goes in one of my ears and out the other.
Laughter and happiness surrounds me as we get our photo taken.
As we inhale the chill cold air it freezes my nose instantly.
Hundreds of smells going up my nose and freezing it.
It was definitely worth the long ride.
