Nicholas , 13Fresh cut lawns and the smell of lawn mower smoke fill my nose. Ripening peaches clinging to the tree branches like it’s their only possession. Road dust from previous cars wafting up my nose and face smelling of smoky dirt. Birds chirp in the morning breeze like practice for a choir. Breakfast still lingering around in my mouth, wind pushing back my face, my eyes tearing up from a cold gust. A roller coaster screaming in my ears. A burst of sun rays escape the clouds. The rustling of the trees like a group meeting. The sensation of being off the ground. Racing down a gravel road on my bike.
