Fiordland's Hollyford

Jade, 11

My favourite spot in New Zealand is the Hollyford. The Hollyford is a quiet place with only birds tweeting, waterfalls splashing, deer roaring, and boats motoring up and down the river. The cold valleys are covered with layers of fog, while the boats motor up the lake to the next hut. This place is beautiful in all ways; from the river, the lake, the different tracks, the tweeting birds, the splashing waterfalls, the three and five wire bridges to the raging rocky rapids which the best and most fish live in, the thick forests that the birds fly in and the tracks which the people walk on.
