Coromandel

Coromandel

Bay of Plenty/Coromandel

Werimu, 8

The beach was as long as a rugby field. Sometimes you can see ships in the distance. When we went fishing we saw some dead fish. My half cousin Jackson stabbed the fish in its eye. We could not eat it, so we threw it in the ditch. The next morning the dead fish grew and grew and grew until it was big as Logan’s head. Then overnight it exploded all over the camp ground, and the beach. That was the Coromandel.
